The backrest is the feature: a fan-shaped arch with piped seam lines radiating outward across it like the ribs of a shell, standing at the right end and wrapping slightly around the corner to double as a short arm. Against that curved drama the rest of the deewan stays deliberately clean, a rectangular lounge deck on a flat boxed base, so the arch is never competing with anything. The emerald green fabric is rich but matte, easier to live with day to day than velvet. It ships with one black patterned scatter cushion and one matching green cushion. Slim black tapered legs with gold cap tips lift it. A solid wood frame carries a 2.5-year warranty and the high-density foam a 5-year warranty, made to order at our Lahore workshop.
